When a Newtown, PA mother reached out to me to schedule at-home lifestyle family photos for the holidays, to capture their family at their old farmhouse, I knew I had to find somewhere on my calendar to squeeze them in. Not only did I realize that we had been in the same La Leche League group back when our babes were younger, but our daughters were now serendipitously also in the same dance class! Plus— I just can’t resist at-home sessions, who are we kidding, especially if it’s in an old farmhouse!
I knew their place would be adorable and it did not disappoint! We had perfect sun on that chilly late November afternoon, the cutest little family ever, and a gorgeous old farmhouse with modern splashes of color. And man, did this family know how to bring on the giggles too. Mom had said she always envisioned a wide shot of their home with them all on their big porch and that was my vision too when I pulled up to the house.
