When one of my clients asks for an at-home session I was so excited. At first it was going to be a modified later-newborn style session, then life happened and we moved the session to late summer, which was perfect because we got to capture their little girl in all of her five-month adorableness. At-home family sessions are a perfect option for little ones or shy kiddos (not that their kids were!) because it allows them to be in the comfort of their own home. They love showing off their toys to me and they LOVE all the play time and extra attention that they get to have with their parents as I sit back and document it. And bonus for the parents-- you don't need to worry about lugging diapers, extra outfits, snacks and sippy cups to a park! When Mama told me she wanted to capture play and story time and then maybe some outdoor chalk drawing, I was ecstatic. Just simple, daily activities that they'll be able to now have beautiful images of one day-- just my style!
