Nothing means more to me than having past clients hire me back to do their newborn photography session! This year I am finding more and more clients are having their second or third baby and asking me to photograph their newest addition’s newborn shoot, whether it be at their home or in my Newtown, PA photography studio.
I’ve been working with this family for the last year years on both of their maternity, newborn, and first birthday sessions with their firstborn and now their little girl.
When I arrived to their at-home lifestyle newborn session in New Jersey, I was greeted by their cautious pups (who I remembered needed warming up time last time too!) so we sat and talked for a bit about the baby’s delivery, how the holidays went while their toddler showed off his newest Christmas toys and I fed the dogs some treats to get them to warm up to me. Then we went upstairs to see the baby’s room. Sometimes it’s tricky getting toddlers to participate in their new sibling’s session, so I always make sure to pull out all the stops- like reading their favorite books to their new sibling or having a tickle fest with the parents.
