This fellow photographer mama and I did shoots for each other last year and this we did it all over again! I knew if we were doing it again, it needed to be an epic location. Can you believe we almost rescheduled on this day because we weren’t supposed to have the sunset that night (#photographerproblems), but decided to take a chance and MAN am I glad we did! This location wasn’t easy to get to, and it involved climbing a slight mountain (okay, not really a mountain, but we’re in Philadelphia so this is a mountain to us) but we made it and it was so gorgeous. I love how much she and her son just love playing and snuggling. And I can tell you, photographing toddler boys is a full body work out both for me and for the moms I’m working with at the time too! But I just adore this session, their sweetness, how much her beautiful soul shines through, his playfulness, and her teaching him how to work with camera. And of course, that insanely gorgeous sunset that we lucked out on.
