My favorite thing about photographing toddlers is their never-ending energy, honesty and unpredictability. Add a newborn to the session and it's a wonderful mix of sweetness, curiosity and glorious chaos. I love shooting lifestyle newborn sessions with siblings because they capture life as you'll remember it one day (just a bit more refined and less cluttered!). So when one twin toddler only wants to eat cookies and the other one only wants to play hide-and-seek in the curtains, you go with the flow and continue shooting. And when they jump on the bed and photobomb the newborn posed shots? You continue shooting. And when they try climbing the crib as you attempt to get a few detail shots of the baby in the crib? Yep, you just continue shooting.
